Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the saturation of an inverter transformer by fully firing switching elements connected to the positive or negative sides of a DC power source of a bridge inverter when the inverter is stopped. CONSTITUTION:When an inverter is stopped, switching elements 1-4 connected to the positive or negative poles of the DC power source 7 of bridge inverter are fully fired. In this manner, the saturation of the inverter transformer when the inverter is stopped can be prevented, thereby preventing the DC shortcircuit of the inverter when the inverter is again started.
