Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent reignition of the transistor during a discharge of the capacitor by inserting a diode in parallel with the charge-discharge capacitor of the drive circuit which contains the transistor chopper circuit and the current transformer.
CONSTITUTION: The transistors 22, 23 are turned on or off by the output of oscillator 9 controlled by the voltage control circuit 16, current of the primary coil 6 of the current transformer 4 is controlled by charge-discharge of the capacitor 21 to turn on or off the chopper transistor 3, and the load 2 is driven. At this time, the diode 25 is provided in parallel with the capacitor 21, the primary coil 6 is shorted with the transistor 23 and the diode 25 in a discharge of the capacitor 21. Thus, since a positive bias is not given again by exciting energy remained in the current transformer 4 when the transistor 3 is turned off, the reignition can be surely prevented.
