Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform a PWM control in high accuracy with high carrier by switching the three types of pattern changes in a carrier period zond by a line coder. CONSTITUTION:Data are outputted from a pattern memory cell 1 to a line decoder 5 at the start of the period of a pulse width modulation carrier, and the switching of the output pattern data from the line decoder 5 is performed by programmable counters 3, 4. In this manner, three types of pattern changes in the carrier period zone are switched by the line decoder, thereby enabling the performance of a PWM control in high accuracy with high carrier in a general purpose microcomputer.
