Abstract
PURPOSE: To execute the multistage pumping-up power generation without requiring an unnecessary large intermediate pond, by controlling the load corresponding to the upper and lower power stations by the power generation control unit, adjusting the opening of the guide vane of each power station.
CONSTITUTION: The power generation control unit 10 receives the total requested output (j) to the upper side and lower side power stations 4 and 5, and also receives water level signals (e), (f), (g) of each pond 1...3, outputs (a), (b) of the operation status of each power station 4, 5, and opening signals (c), (d) of the guide vanes 6, 7, as the feedback signals. And the output distribution of the power stations 4, 5 is decided respectively so as to the intermediate pond 2 attain required water level and also the output (j) be statisfied, and the load commands (h), (i) are given to the load control units 8, 9 corresponding to the power stations 4, 5. In this way, the units 8, 9 control the opening of the guide vanes 6, 7. As a result, the multistage pumping-up power generation is attained without requiring an unnecessary large intermediate pond.
