Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the minimum value of an electric power generated by a furnace pressure recovery turbine and meet a safety electric power requirement by increasing the setting of an allowable deviation for control with a bypass valve when a transmission system of a power generation facility is interrupted. CONSTITUTION:A turbine 6 is connected in parallel with a bypass valve 4, and the output of a power generator 8 is supplied to a main transmission system 10. When the electric power system is interrupted, a circuit breaker 9 is cut off, and the output of the generator 8 is sent to a safety electric power transmission system 15. At the same time, a selector 14 is switched to a pressure controller 12, and also the allowable deviation setting of the pressure controller 12 is reset to a higher value. As a result, the minimum value of the generated electric power is increased and is kept above the safety electric power requirement.
