Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the disturbance of the occurrence of a negative slip for the power generation of an induction generator and to check a rise in speed at load interruption as well by automatically switching frequency control before closing a breaker and load control and slip frequency control with a blind sector after closing the breaker. CONSTITUTION:When a breaker is off and an induction generator is not connected to an electric power system, a contact 4b is ON and a deviation signal between a power source frequency and the frequency of the induction generator is applied to a governor valve control unit 7 from a frequency deviation signal generator 10. With the frequency deviation become zero, the breaker is turned on and the contact 4b becomes OFF and contacts, 4a and 4c, become ON, and a deviation signal between a load setting value and the load of the induction generator is applied to the governor valve control unit 7 from a deviation amplifier 3. An amplifier 12 supplies the governor valve control unit 7 with a signal to throttle the inlet valve of a prime mover when the slip of the induction generator becomes bigger than the slip value set by a blind sector setting unit 13.
