Abstract

CONSTITUTION: If a breaker 4 should be opened during operation of a hydraulic turbine generator due to any trouble, an auxiliary contact 4b of the braker is closed and a resistor 6 is included in a circuit. The generator is then loaded with a heavy duty, which may safely and surely restrain the hydraulic turbine generator from running at overspeeds with the aid of a simple mechanism.
