Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a remarkable low NOx effect without spoiling combustibility by a method wherein internal flow air is introduced ino an inner tube and fuel is drawn in-between the inner tube and an intermediate tube surrounding the inner tube while external flow air is introduced in-between the intermediate tube and an outer tube surrounding the intermediate tube respectively.
CONSTITUTION: A radiant tube burner 2 is connected with a fuel gas supplying tube 1 and an air introducing tube 6 and is used to heat an internal portion of a furnace by injecting produced combustion gas into a radiant tube 3, while the exhaust gas is discharged from a chimney through an exhaust gas conduit 7 passing in a combustion air preheater 4. In this case, the burner 2 is constituted with an inner tube 10, an intermediate tube 11 and an outer tube 12 and rear ends between the tube 10 and the tube 11 is closed by an annular plate 13 while a fuel nozzle 15 is communicated with the gas supplying tube 1 through a manifold 14. End of the outer tube 12 is closed by an end plate 16 while an internal air nozzle 18 and an external flow air nozzle 19 between the tube 11 and the tube 12 are communicated with an air conduit 6. The inner tube 10 is made shorter than the intermediate tube 11 and an inner periphery of a fore half of the intermediate tube 11 is lined with a fire resisting material 21.
