Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce nox and to stabilize combustion by arranging a fuel-air mixture nozzle, secondary air nozzle, auxiliary secondary air nozzle, and inert gas injection nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel-air mixture containing a solid micropowder fuel is fed through a mixture feed pipe 17 and injected from a fuel-air mixture nozzle 11 into a furnace, where it is ignited by heat radiation to form a flame 18. Secondary air is injected from a secondary air nozzle 12 arranged around the nozzle 11; auxiliary secondary air is injected from an anxiliary secondary air nozzle 15 arranged around the nozzle 12; and an inert gas is inejected from an inert gas injection nozzle 16 arranged between the nozzles 12 and 15. Result is stable combustion and reduced NOx formation.
