Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent combustion knock by adjusting respective fuel spraying direction and by forming stabilized flame in the combustion method wherein a plurality of injection nozzles is positioned at a burner throat and fuel is burnt by spraying.
CONSTITUTION: Construction of the burner is such that a plurality of gas burner elements 2 to inject fuel is disposed on the same circumference and flame support plate 3 which holds flame in a stabilized condition is installed at the cneter. Fuel gas is supplied to each element 2 from the fuel bus pipe 5, and is mixed with air being supplied from the burner throat 4 for combustion. Flame stability is obtained by deviating a selected plurality of elements 2 in its injection direction and an amount of fuel necessary for stabilizing flames is injected from the nozzle at the center of the support plate 3. For example, as shown in the figure, a part of the fuel gas is injected into the area of recirculation in the rear part of the support plate 3.
