Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce NOx formation by mixed combusion of a high-calorie fuel gas and an inert gas in a burner comprising outer cylinders and inner cylinders.
CONSTITUTION: A high-calorie fuel gas 01 is mixed with the boiler combustion gas or an inert gas 02 (used as a diluting gas) in low-calorie gas formers-mixers 03-4. The low-calorie gas passes through burner inner cylinders 03-3, and is mixed with combustoon air 04 in burner outer cylinders 03-2 before injected into the furnace via burner nozzles 03-1. The burner nozzles 03-1 are charged with a stabilizer for stabilization of ignition and combustion. Mixing of the high-calorie fuel gas 01 with an inert gas 02(diluting gas) in a gas burner 03 results in a low-calorie gas and reduced Nox formation.
