Abstract

PURPOSE:To minimize the variations in the performance of a dry cell by forming a wax layer on a carbon, pressing and fitting the carbon into a positive mixture, and followed by heating the carbon rod to melt the wax into the positive mixture, and thereby increasing the contact between the carbon rod and the positive mixture.
