Abstract

CONSTITUTION:An insulating bottom paper 2 is laid on the inner bottom of a cathode zinc container 1, a molded anode compound 5 is filled in the zinc container through a separator 4 which is pasted on the inner wall of the cathode container and a carbon rod 8 is press-fitted into the center part by a force-rod 7 through a fixture 6 fitted at the open part of the zinc container. Thereafter the upper surface of the compound 5 is pressed by fixture 6. Then it is pressed and molded again. In this method the carbon rod 8 can be easily forced in and the upper part of the compound 5 is filled to a high density, the mutual contact between the compound and 5, the separator 4, the zinc container 1 becomes so excellent that discharging performance is improved.
