Abstract
PURPOSE:To charge an organic electrolytic battery and improve cycle characteristics by making it consist of a negative electrode which uses a positive electrode, an organic electrolyte, and a ternary alloy of Li-Al-Mg as an active material. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode 1 which is obtained by rolling a ternary alloy of Li-Al-Mg and molding it in specified dimensions is solderless-contacted to a negative electrode collective body 4 which is fixed to the inner bottom of a negative electrode can 10. On the other hand, a molded positive electrode 2 is arranged at the inner bottom of a positive electrode can 20 and a separator 3 which impregnates an organic electrolyte is inserted between the positive and negative electrodes 2 and 1. This organic electrolytic battery can be charged and has a long charge and discharge cycle as compared with a battery which uses an Li-Al alloy as a negative electrode active material.
