Abstract
PURPOSE: To shorten the period of construction for the revetment, etc., on soft ground by a procedure in which the necessary place of the soft ground is stabilized by injecting and mixing a grout, e.g., cement milk, etc., and then concrete block for the revetment is directly placed on the stabilized ground.
CONSTITUTION: In the construction of the revetment on the soft ground of seabed, a grout, e.g., cement milk, etc., which has been used conventionally, is injected into the soft ground 10 and mixed with soft soil to form a stabilized grout 11 with a proper width. In this case, before the stabilized ground 11 is solidified by the grout, piles 12 are struck at regular intervals in such a manner as to project their upper ends from the stabilized ground 11, and then after the stabilized ground 11 is solidified, a concrete block 13 for the revetment is placed and a grout 17 is filled between a pile through hole 16 and the pile 12 for fixation. Afterwards, as needed, a concrete 18 is placed on the upper ends of the block 13 and a back-filling soil and sand 19 is placed in the back of the block 13 to complete the revetment.
