Abstract
PURPOSE: To economically form a footing as well as secure a given strength in the footing by dropping tip members for a pile into the bottom of an excavated pit in such a way that the soil and sand in the ground are not mixed with concrete to be placed later.
CONSTITUTION: A pit 1 for a pile is drilled in a given position until a hard substratum 2 is reached, a tip member 3 of precast concrete is dropped onto the bottom of the pit 1, and then the tip member 3 is driven into the hard substratum 2 by means of an impaction. Then, a grout is injected through the through holes 3b... provided in the tip member 3 to fill it in the space the tip member 3 and the hard substratum 2.
