Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of the titled device by securing a free up-down movement for the erythrocyte detector which detects erythrocyte within the measuring tube to give a sccessive correspondence to plural numbers of measuring tubes and then measuring the height of the erythrocyte column in each measuring tube. CONSTITUTION:The following component units are incorporated into the automatic measuring device mentioned in the above titled: the measuring tube supporter 134 which supports vertically plural numbers of measuring tubes 122; the erythrocyte detector 171 which can move freely up and down and detects the erythrocyte within the tube 122; the driving device which gives a relative shift between the supporter 134 and the detector 171; and the position detector which detects the relative position relation between the tube 122 on the supporter 134 and the detector 171. Then the tubes 122 are made successively correspond to the detector 171 to carry out first a measurement for the initial value of the erythrocyte column in each tube 122. And then the height position is measured for the upper end face of the cedimented erythrocyte column for each tube 122 and with every fixed time. Thus the sedimentation distance of the erythrocyte is calculated for each tube 122 and with every time of measurement and based on the difference between the initial value the height of the erythrocyte column.
