Abstract
PURPOSE:To take a specified amount of specimen liquid into a pipette safely, switfly and accurately by pushing a cylindrical body which has a pipette made of thin synthetic resin material inserted in its hole section for insertion and engagement into inner diameter as the outer diameter of the cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION:The tip of a synthetic resin pipette 1 that has a thin wall and is like a straw is inserted into a cylindrical sub-vessel 10 that has a hole section 10a with which the pipette 1 engages and a piercing hole 11 in its bottom 10b. On the other hand a specimen 4 such as blood is put into a main vessel 9 that has the same inner diameter as the outer diameter of the sub-vessel 10 and the vessel 9 is tightly closed with a cap 3 to make it conveyable and storable. In the test, the cap 3 is taken away and the sub-vessel 10 is pushed into the main vessel 9 until the specimen rises to a specified position in the pipette 1. If it rises higher than specified, the height is adjusted by pulling up the vessel 9. A specimen is thereby taken into the pipette without sucking by mouth and the pipettes can be made inexpensive with thin wall, so that they can be thrown away after use.
