Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately detect the radioactivity of a specimen regardless of the variation in the quantity of the specimen collected into a sample container by moving the sample container and a radioactivity detector relatively to each other, and integrating the detector output during said moving period. CONSTITUTION:A sample container 1 is first set in the position shown by a dotted line in the figure and then lowered to the position shown by a solid line as a driving mechanism 4 lowers according to the instructions from a controller 8.
