Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable good image quality to be stably obtained by exposing one end of the resistance layer of a recording body and applying a fixed potential thereto, thereby smoothly and surely performing the power supply to the resistance layer. CONSTITUTION:A recording body 1 consists of a recording layer 1a, a resistance layer 1b and an insulation layer 1c and the resistance layer 1b is exposed at its both ends. A roller 8 which is conductive and having magnetism is allowed to contact with the exposed resistance layer 1b and is driven to revolve, whereby the power is supplied. The developer held stuck on the resistance layer 1b etc. is sucked by the magnetism of the roller 8, is scraped off by a blade 9 and is recovered into a case 10. The develope stuck on the recording body for the purpose of formation of visible images in a developing part 3 transfer to the other recording medium in a transfer part 4, and the developer still remained is removed in a cleaning destaticization part 5. The developer remained on the surface of the resistance layer 1b is surely removed by surely performing the power supply from the roller 8.
