Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate an easy exfoliation of the copy paper, by providing the device between the charging part of the photoreceptor and the exposure part of the picture to stick the powderlike material giving no evil effect to the copied picture to the picture region on the photoreceptor.
CONSTITUTION: The device 21 which sticks the powderlike material giving no evil effect to the copied picture to the picture region on the surface 8a of the photoreceptor is installed between the charging corotron 9 on the surface 8a and the picture irradiation/exposure position. The 21 has such constitution in that the magentic brush roll 24 to which the bias voltage is applied is provided in a free rotatable way within the housing 23 having the opening 22 opposing to the surface 8a and the powderlike material 25 having no evil effect to the copied picture of the transparent toner, the white toner and the like is filled into the housing 23. With a uniform sticking of the material 25, the potential of the electrostatic latent image is reduced to secure an easy exfoliation of the copy paper 17 from the surface 8a.
