Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the expansion and contraction of the resin covering a hybrid integrated circuit device in order to prevent the snapping of a wire and the like by performing the soldering of the assembled circuit device to external terminals by applying flux to only the portions to be soldered in fused solder. CONSTITUTION:On an insulative substrate 1 of alumina or the like, conductor patterns 2 are formed by printing or the like. Semiconductors 3 are die-bonded to given patterns 2, and the electrodes provided on the semiconductors 3 are bonded to other patterns 2 by using wires 4. Then this is coated with molding resin 5, and clip-shaped external terminals 6 of bronze phosphide or the like are connected to the patterns 2 located at the ends of the substrate 1 by using solder 7. On doing this, not the whole device but only the terminals 6 previously fluxed are dipped in a solder bath 11 filled with fused solder 12 so that the solder 12 has no effect on the resin 5.
