Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the exhaust oil from scattering in a gas-sucking route and thereby heating the sucked gas by introducing the exhaust oil from the bearing on the gas-sucking side into a chamber in which the capacity is not changed.
CONSTITUTION: A passage 29 is provided so that the exhaust oil from a bearing on the suction side is introduced into a chamber 34 which is a transporting stroke with no change in capacity between the suction and compression strokes of a female rotor (omitted in the figure). The stroke with no change in capacity until the chamber of the female rotor (omitted in the figure) intercepts the communication with a suction route 10 and the compression stroke is commenced is called the transporting stroke, and the pressure in the chamber 34 of this stroke is nearly equal to the suction pressure. The exhaust-oil chamber 24 on the side of a male rotor and the exhaust-oil chamber 24' on the side of the female rotor are communicated with each other, while the chamber 24' is further communicated with the chamber 34 through the passage 29. Accordingly, much of the heated exhaust oil from the bearing on the suction side is exhausted in the female rotor chamber (not shown) in the transporting stroke whose communication with the suction route 10 is intercepted and, therefore, the scattering of the oil into the flow-in gas from the suction route 10 is reduced, whereby the reduction of the quantity of the sucked air can be prevented.
