Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the manufacturing method suitable for mass production, by coupling and fixing the tip of optical fiber in the fine hole of a plurality of capillaries having slightly greater fine hole than the diameter of optical fiber at the center. CONSTITUTION:Each center of the capillaries 18a-18f has fine hole greater than the external diameter of optical fiber core wire by 1mu, and the outer diameter of the capillaries is equally formed within the error of about 1mu. The capillary 19 has the same outer diameter as a plurality of capillaries and has the hole in matching write the tension wire as the reinforced material of multicore fiber at the center. To bundle the plural capillaries most densely, the capillaries are fixed inside the metal collar 14 via the elastic material 15 such as rubber.
