Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the heat radiation efficiency of a radiator, by providing a flow return body which returns exhaust air from the radiator to the region of the radiator except for its high speed air region.
CONSTITUTION: A flow return body 8 is mounted at side of a radiator group, from which cooling air is discharged by a fan 4. The flow return body 8 is almost in contact with the radiator 3. Te casing 9 of the flow return body 8 is a box of U-shaped cross section. Numerous arc-shaped guide plates 10 for conducting the air are mounted stepwise at the inlet and outlet sides of the flow return body 8 in the casing 9. As a result, an air region 12 is provided in addition to a high speed air region 7 to heighten the heat radiation efficiency of the radiator 3.
