Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the machining speed by a method wherein a resonance circuit is provided in series in a machining aperture and an oscillator is oscillated by the resonance power of the resonance circuit, thereby the oscillation being performed in conformity with the best condition at all times. CONSTITUTION:When an electric discharge is performed into a machining aperture by a pulse which a machining power source 5 supplies, the series resonance circuit of an oscillator 6 and an inductance 7 is oscillated by the discharge of the machining aperture, and a high-frequency oscillation is generated by the flow of the resonance current to the oscillator 6 and is made to act on an electrode 1 through a horn 4. Since the resonance circuit makes discharge resonate with the high frequency, it can make the former resonate with any optional high frequency in accordance with a circuit constant and can make the electrode perform the high-frequency oscillation.
