Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a stable output signal at the parting of a body to be detected, by supplying a current of AC component with a prescribed frequency and amplitude to an oscillation circuit of a proximity switch and regulating the oscillation condition of the proximity switch with the current of AC component. CONSTITUTION:An oscillation circuit 1 is provided with a parallel resonance circuit consisting of a coil 4 and a capacitor 5 and a current mirror circuit in which an output current determined with an active current value of a transistor TR8 is generated from a TR9 and given to a parallel resonance circuit. The active current value of the TR8 is determined corresponding to a parallel circuit generating voltage and the oscillating voltage of the circuit 1 is compared with a comparison voltage at a comparison circuit 2. On the output current of the TR8 determined with the comparison circuit 2, a current including the AC component of an AC power supply 15 with a prescribed amplitude and frequency is superimposed. Thus, the start of oscillation after the parting of a body to be detected is made from a prescribed amplitude, allowing to remarkably reduce the delay time until the output is inverted after the parting of the body to be detected.
