Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize an oscillation output against variation in temperature by simplifying the constitution of a LC oscillator by supplying a constant current from alternate positive-pole and negative-pole power supplies to a resonance circuit to a switch circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The output of positive-pole power supply 13 of power circuit 16 is applied to terminal 17 of switch circuit 21 via resistance 12, and that of negative- pole power supply 15 of circuit 16 is to terminal 18 of circuit 21 via resistance 14. According to the polarity of the output voltage of amplifier 5, this switch circuit 21 is switched to flow a current from power supply 13 or 15 to center tap 3 of coil 2 of resonance circuit 1 from terminal 20. One terminal of this resonance circuit 1 is connected to one terminal of amplifier 5 and an oscillation output is extracted from output terminal 11 of amplifier 5. In this constitution, the constant current to be supplied to resonance circuit 1 is switched between positive polarity and negative polarity according to switching periods basing upon the tuning frequency and the current of resonance circuit 1 is made invariablly constant, thereby suppressing the variation of the output level to variation in temperature.
