Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the variable range of the oscillation frequency or to enhance the frequency purity by connecting the voltage control variable capacity diode between the tuning circuit of the clapp oscillation circuit and the base circuit of the transistor. CONSTITUTION:Voltage control variable capacity diode D1 is provided between the base of transistor Q and the turning circuit comprising coil L and voltage control variable capacity diode D0 of the clapp oscillation circuit. The capacity of diode D0 and Dv vary by controlling the voltage applied to terminal Tv, and thus the frequency obtained through output terminal T0 varies. Diode D1 contributes along with diode D0 to the variation of the frequency to increase the variable range of the frequency. When the variable range is fixed, the oscillator is used in the state under which Q is high in order to enchance the frequency purity for the oscillation output.
