Abstract
PURPOSE:To minimize the variation of the amplitude and the frequency to the fluctuation of the power supply voltage, by providing a clamping circuit between the two reverse amplifiers which form an oscillating circuit. CONSTITUTION:The 1st reverse amplifier 1 to which the one end of quartz oscillator X is connected consists of two units of MOSFETT3 and T4; and the output of amplifier 1 is connected to the 2nd reverse amplifier 2 comprising two units of MOSFETT1 and T2. And the output of amplifier 2 is connected to the other end of oscillator X. Thus an oscillating circuit is obtained. In this case, if clamping circuit 3 comprising MOSFETT5 is provided at the output end of amplifier 1, output voltage V1 of amplifier 1 does not attain more than the threshold level of MOSFETT5. As a result, the amplitude of output V2 of the oscillator can be reduced to nearly a constant level to the fluctuation of the power supply voltage also to minimize the fluctuation of the frequency.
