Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the output amplitude by using the MOSFET operating at all times under the saturation state, and thus to reduce the charge/discharge current of the capacitor at the output side in order to realize the low power consumption for the oscillation circuit. CONSTITUTION:The amplifier consisting of MOSFETTP2 and TN2 which always operate under the saturation state is provided between the drain of P-type MOSFETTP1 foming the C-MOS inverter and the drain of N-type MOSFETTN1. And one end of crystal oscillator Q and capacitor C2 are connected to the common connection point of the gates of FETTP1 and TN1 as well as to the connection point of resistance R2 formed by MOSFET; and capacitor C1 and the other end of Q are connected to the common connection point of FETTP2 and TN2 as well as to the connection point of R2 via resistance R1. Thus, the crystal oscillation circuit is formed. Also, the crystal oscillation circuit is formed by using either one of FETTP2 and TN2 operating under the saturation state.
