Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase a working speed by a method wherein a resonance circuit is provided in series or in parallel at a working gap between a wire electrode supplying a working panel and a work while an oscillator is oscillated to control a vibration of the wire by a resonance electric power of this resonance circuit.
CONSTITUTION: Working portions 4, 5 are opposing to a work 6 through a wire 1 between these guides as an electrode and the working is effected by conducting a working pulse to the opposing working gap from a working pulse electric source 7. In this time, a series resonance circuit of oscillators 8, 9 and an inductance 13 is resonated by an electrical discharge at the working gap, a high-frequency vibration is generated by a resonance current flowing through the oscillators 8, 9 and applies a vibration to the working electrode 1. Due to this vibration, an removing effect for working chips is improved and a stable working may be effected because of reduction of an arc or a short circuit. Thereby, a working speed is improved and an efficient working may be effected while a working accuracy may be improved.
