Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the estimation precision of a mean reception level while obtaining the mean reception level of T seconds continuously by generating an output of the N-sample sum at intervals of T/N seconds. CONSTITUTION:A receiver IF level, supplied from input terminal 1, is sampled by A/D converter 2 at interval of T/N seconds in period and M-bit digital information is sent out from terminal 3. The output signal from terminal 3 is delayed (T seconds) by delay circuit 4 as long as N samples and outputted to terminal 5. The difference between this output and the output of terminal 3 is calculated by digital subtracter 6 and outputted to terminal 7. This output is successively added by digital adder 8, whose output is sent to terminal 9. This constitution provides continuous measurement of a mean reception level extending for T seconds.
