Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for an expensive window function generating circuit by supplying an input signal to a linear cyclic digital filter, which sends out an output signal based upon a past input signal, at every point of sampling. CONSTITUTION:Adders 44-46, multipliers 36-39, and one-sampling-period delay registers 51 and 52 constitute a linear cyclic digital filter to which a window function of a past sampling period is considered to be applied at every sampling point. When an input signal is inputted to a terminal 1, the linear cyclic digital filter performs discrete Fourier transformation and sends a read part and an imaginary part output to terminals 20r and 20i. Both the outputs are squared by multipliers 33 and 34 respectively and then added by an adder 43, whose output proportional to the amplitude of a component of a necessary detection angular frequency is sent out to a terminal 2. According to the addition output, the presence of the input signal having the necessary detection angular frequency is discriminated.
