PURPOSE:To obtain an absorbance measuring sensor having a high using efficiency of the light and an easy manufacture, by providing the 1st optical fiber to lead the light given from the light source plus the 2nd optical fiber to lead the light emitted from the end face of the 1st optical fiber to the photodetector and then attaching the prism to the end face of both optical fibers each. CONSTITUTION:Absorbance measuring sensor 10 consists of optical fibers 11 and 12, reflector 14, prism 16 and others. The light given from light source 18 is put into fiber 11 via lens 17, and the light emitted from the end face of fiber 11 is transmitted to the sample via prism 16. This light is then reflected by reflector 14 to be received by photodetector 19 via prism 16 and fiber 12. Thus the both optical axes of fibers 11 and 12 distributed in parallel to each other by member 13 with a fixed distance between can be corrected by prism 16. As a result, the light loss can be reduced greatly.
