Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent an advancing-side phase margin from decreasing by placing the leading edge of a data pulse in the center of a window pulse at any time by controlling an oscillator by use of the data pulse of pulse width proportional to a data signal frequency. CONSTITUTION:A data signal is input to one-shot circuit 1 to generate a data pulse. Then, edge detectors 2 and 3 detect the leading edge of the data pulse and the trailing edge of the output pulse of voltage control oscillator 11 and their outputs are input to flip flop 4 to generate a data pulse. Further, phase comparing circuit 14 detects a phase difference between the data pulse and data latch pulse, phase converter 9 converts it into a voltage that corresponds to the phase difference, and the voltage is applied to one-shot circuit 1 and the control input of voltage control oscillator 11 by way of low-pass filter 10.
