Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve metal flow and increase the yield and quality of products by blooming steel ingot under the condition that the unsolidified portion remains as it is.
CONSTITUTION: Killed steel ingot filled with water is made steel ingot filled with water by pouring water into the ingot immediately after the completion of cast and mold stripping is performed under the condition that the outer portion of the steel ingot is solidified and its center is unsolidified.
