Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the scattering loss of emitter substance, lengthen the life of filament, and shorten the time of starting and lighting by a method in which C- shaped auxiliary anodes opening on a stem side are faced each other through a fine gap and the periphery of a filament is surrounded by the auxiliary anodes. CONSTITUTION:A pair of auxiliary anodes 4, 5 are formed into a dome shape with an opening 11 by bending downwardly Ni or Fe plate in an almost -shaped insection, and connected and fixed to each of internal conductors 1, 2 by supporting wires, 8, 9.
