Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify registering of each visible color image, by using a photoreceptor made by laminating the first and second photoconductive layers, forming electrostatic latent images corresponding to an A color image and a B color image, and separately developing and transferring these images to a sheet.
CONSTITUTION: Photoconductive layers 1B and 1C different from each other in spectral sensitivity characteristic are laminated to form photoreceptor 1, on which electrostatic latent images corresponding to red and black images having surface potential distributions on receptor 1 reverse to each other in polarity are formed by a static latent image forming process of a combination of charging and exposure. Only the electrostatic latent image of the black image is developed with black toner TBr, transferred to recording sheet S, and fixed, then, the electrostatic latent image of the red image is developed with red toner TR, and visualized on sheet S, thus permitting each color image to be formed with a single toner separately and therefore, registering of each color visible image to be easy, and image mackling to be prevented.
