Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an artistic picture-patterned sheet by a method wherein an ink layer that contains acid or alkali is partially formed on the sheet material so that a picture pattern may be expressed, while a colored ink layer is provided in harmony with said layer and a metal is evaporated onto it.
CONSTITUTION: The entire surface of the heat-resisting film base material 11 is coated with the layer 12 of a peeling agent, the ink layer 14A that contains acid or alkali is partially formed on it so that an arbitrary picture pattern may be expressed, and the colored ink layer 13 is provided in harmony with said layer 14A. Next a metal is evaporated onto the whole surface of the material to form the metal evaporation layer 15, the heat-sensitive adhesive layer 16 is provided on the whole surface of the layer 15, the metal evaporation layer 15 is partially melted by said acid or alkali by using water to remove a part of the metal evaporation layer together with the heat-sensitive adhesive layer 16 on it. In this way, the partially evaporated transfer sheet 1 can be obtained.
