Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the accumulation of waste of heat-sensitive paper on the surface of a heater part and obtain a heat-sensitive head with good quality of printed picture by forming a convex shape of parts of acid-resistant layer and antiabrasive layer corresponding to the heater part. CONSTITUTION:The preparing method for the captioned device is similar to the existing ones so far as a glaze layer 2, a resistor 3 and an electrode 4 are formed on one surface of a substrate 1. In addition to the above, an acid-resistant layer 5 is formed to be a film thicker than that of the electrode. Next, by using an ordinary photoengraving technique, a photoresist mask is formed on the part of the acid- resistant layer corresponding to the resistor, while the other part of acid-resistant layer that is not covered by the photoresist mask being removed up to the depth more than the thickness of the film of electrode by the etching method by using an etching liquid of buffer. Then, the photoresist film is removed and an antiabrasive layer 6 is formed to be a film by the spatter method and the like.
