Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce a thermal head, which is operative to effectively transmit the heat generated in an exothermic element to recording paper and which has a high printing quality, by forming a layer of tantalum oxide by anodizaion on the surface of an exothermic resistor of thin film of tantalum nitride other than the electrode forming portion.
