Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce a decorative laminated board with an excellent solidity appearance and an ample color tone by forming patterned layers in a multiple manner by a transfer method on a glossy sheet coated with a transparent unsaturated polyester resin paint.
CONSTITUTION: A glossy sheet such as metal foil and a metal powder containing resin sheet is press welded on the base board and then, coated thereon with a transparent unsaturated polyester resin paint 3. A resin film transfer sheet with a picture is placed on the painted surface and with the release of the resin film from the mold, the picture is transferred onto the painted surface 3 to form the first picture layer 5. Subsequently, with air cut thoroughly, the paint 3 is hardened by heating. This procedure is repeated one or two times. Then, the painted surface is top coated with the transparent unsaturated polyester resin paint 3. Thereafter, a resin film provided with a fine picture with an opaque ink is placed on the top coat and with the total cut of the air, it is hardened completely. Then, with the resin film released from the mold, the picture is transferred onto the surface of the polyester resin to form the second picture layer 7.
