CONSTITUTION:Main electrodes 2, 3 are arranged in a silicon light emission tube 1 of high pressure mercury lamp while a filament 5 made of tungsten is connected to the main electrode 2 and the filament 5 is connected to the electrode 3 in series with a normal open heat responsive element 14 and the filament 15. Then the electrodes 2, 3 are connected through a lighting device 12 to the power source 13.
