Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of a power source and reduce the capacity of the power source, by supplying the power intermittently to a receiving part which is in a waiting state. CONSTITUTION:In case no signal is received, the power is supplied only to a receiving part 6 from a power source 1 in the period T and intermittently only for the time tau by an oscillator 2 and a switching part 3 and via an OR circuit part 5. When the signal is received at the part 6 via an antenna 8, a holding circuit part 4 is driven by the squelch output of the part 6. The circuit part 4 supplies consecutively the power supplied from the part 1 to the receiving part 6 and a transmitting part 7 via an OR circuit 5. The signals are received continuously at the part 6 via the antenna 8, and the part 7 radiates the signal via an antenna 9. The part 4 supplies the power continuously for the time T4 after no signal is received. After this, the part 4 stops its operation, and thus the part 6 receives again an intermittent supply of power to be reset to a waiting state.
