Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent consumption of a battery by making power supply for a main clock circuit controllable through switching operation. CONSTITUTION:Into the 1st power system (VSS1 system), power is supplied from a battery E directly, and the 2nd power system (VSS1' system for a main clock circuit part) is connected with the 1st power system through a switching transistor 2. After a clock is assembled, the battery E is mounted so that a clock movement is made to operate, and, by carrying out such switching operation as switches S1-S3 are made to turn on for 3-4sec then these switches are made to turn off at the same time within one period of 32Hz frequency, the power supply supplying into the VSS1' system is cut. Therefore, any one switch of S1-S3 is turned on due to the user side, then the power supply is made to turned on, thereby, the clock movement is made to start again.
