Abstract
PURPOSE:To supply a stable constant voltage to a clock circuit independently of the change in the battery voltage by supplying power to the electronic timepiece circuit through a constant-voltage circuit when a heavy load such as an alarm, buzzer or the like is operated. CONSTITUTION:Normally, a power source controlling circuit 9 stops the operation of a constant-voltage circuit 8 and allows a step-down circuit 10 to operate in order to apply the voltage obtained by stepping down the voltage of a lithium battery 11 to a time standard source 1, a binary frequency dividing circuit 2 and the like. On the other hand, when a heavy load circuit 7 for a lamp or the like is operated, the power source controlling circuit 9 stops the operation of the step-down circuit 10 and allows the constant-voltage circuit 8 to operate in order to supply a stabilized voltage to said circuits continuously for the time set by a timer 82 after the heavy load has been removed.
