Abstract
PURPOSE:To make unnecessary a synchronizing operation between collecting and terminal stations and to quicken transmission, by generating clock pulses at each terminal station according to the signal from the data collecting station to start the read-in of data and monitoring the status at the collecting station. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal station receives an operation start instruction pulse from a data collecting station, a timer 30 is started to reset a counter divider 60 and a counter 70. When the timer 30 is finished for operation, a logical gate 40 is opened, a circuit 50 generates clock pulse, and a counter divider 60 is advanced. Output signals Q1-Q3 of the counter 70 are decoded at an analog multiplexer 90, and an analog switch is sequentially turned on from the most significant digit of a meter switch 80 every circulation of the above advancement, to read out numerals of each digit. Since a current flows to a transistor TR1 which is turned on according to the numerals read out, the transmission end potential of the collecting station drops. Quick and accurate data can be transmitted by monitoring this potential drop at the collecting station.
