Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the variance of the output voltage and to make the power supply circuit stable, by connecting the collector of the 3rd transistor TR to the junction between the 2nd resistor and the Zener diode which constitute the constant voltage circuit, in a regulated power supply circuit. CONSTITUTION:The base of the 3rd transistor (TR) Q3 is connected to the junction between the resistor R2 and the diode D2, the emitter of this TR Q3 is connected to the emitter of the 2nd TR Q2, and the collector of the 3rd TR Q3 is connected to the junction between the resistor R3 and the Zener diode D1 constituting the constant voltage circuit, allowing to reduce the current flowing to the resistor R2 to a fraction of hFE of the current flowing to the 2nd TR Q2. Thus, the current loss by the resistor R2 can be reduced. Further, the variance of the output voltage due to the variance between the base and emitter of TRs Q2, Q3 can also be suppressed completely.
