PURPOSE:To remove moisture collected on the inside surface of the windowpane of a vehicle, by actuating the compressor of a cooler during the stoppage of an air conditioner in which the frequency of stoppage of the compressor of the cooler is increased depending on the fall in the outside air temperature. CONSTITUTION:Air from a blower 2 is cooled by a cooler 3 or heated by a heater 4. The heated air is mixed depending on the degree of opening of an air mixing door 5. The cooler 3 is controlled depending on the value detected by a temperature detector 6 so that when the outside or inside air temperature falls, the first thermostat 11 is turned off to stop the operation of the compressor of the cooler 3. At that time, if the outside or inside air temperature falls, a windowpane collects moisture but the second thermostat 12 is turned on to actuate the compressor to remove the moisture.
